Golfer Phil Mickelson had a bad day as he went into the Farmers Insurance Open. In spite of making bogeys at the seventeenth and 18th holes at the Torrey Pines’ South Course on Friday, Phil Mickelson just made the cut. He shot seventy one in the rain to end at one under 143.
Phil had real trouble in keeping his hands dry in spite of donning gloves on both hands at the round’s end. He said that the cut was the last thing on his mind – he was attempting to make 1 or 2 birdies to get within striking distance.
